Once you become aware that kickstarter backer was 'over-looked' why don't you forward that order directly to shipping and have it sent out? I even went to your website and ordered one straw to see if I would get it before my kickstarter order. Finally came yesterday (wth! UPS? almost 2 weeks to arrive). I am just astounded at the lack of respect to donors. At least you changed from '2 days' to a date to expect an email (not necessarily the product). Terrible customer service..no stars..
Please let me know about the possibility of starting a local Sales Team.
This is a little off topic, but I am taking a foundations of entrepreneurship class this semester and one of the paper is to interview and entrepreneur. Would there be anyone in the company interested in this? If there is an interest, how can I contact someone? I know this is a very busy time for you and the company, so if there is not time I completely understand. I have enjoyed watching this company grow and would love to write my paper on FinalStraw. :)
Can I just be refunded the upgrade fee?
How do you recommend that we fix shipping/fulfillment orders in light of all the kinks in the process? My order was incorrect. I paid for an upgrade but did not receive it. The rep I chatted with said the correct straws would be sent, but 3 weeks I got an email saying that I needed to process a return/exchange first. I think I've lost confidence in the process and worry that I might not receive a replacement.
You Guys are doing great! I was wondering if you are thinking about hiring a Sales Manager or selling Territories. I'd like to be able to develop a Sales Team and talk to some local Franchises. Do you think you will be able to develop this?
Not a question, but probably just a reiteration of what many other disappointed customers already have expressed: on your next campaign, please PRIORITIZE your backers. Seeing other people (non-backers) happily receive their FinalStraws from Amazon while we are still out here waiting for ours when we have helped bring your project to life is just downright insulting. Having successfully backed dozens of projects on both Kickstarter and Indiegogo, this is literally the first time that I have experienced non-backers receiving the final product earlier than backers. With the success and quality of your final product, NO, you did not need a presence in Amazon to help deal with the fakes. The fakes, with their shoddy craftsmanship and cheap materials would have proven their worth in time nonetheless. Yes, you're a budding company with an awesome cause and that these imitations can hurt your brand much and so you need to stay in business to be able to keep serving your cause, but that is not a reason to disappoint the very people who believed in you first, regardless of the amount each and every one of us backed. It's about keeping your word and respecting the well-meaning people who were instrumental in bringing your dream to life. And if in any way you effed-up along the way, such as having a crappy delivery system like you currently have, then try to truly make it up to your backers - and not just by way of convenient discount codes that not many are really gonna use or care about, but by maybe throwing in a spare FinalStraw accessory or something to make up for the trouble. With that being said, I still look forward to whatever new ideas you have in mind and will willingly back you again as long as you do things right then. I just saw there has been an error and that is why I have not recieved a anything yet, so how is it guaranteed that I am going to get a straw at all? Thank you for the updated email on what's going on. Patricia
You had said that all the Kickstarters would be sent out before the layer purchases but the second straw I bought later (after the email about the error and the promise) was sent out first. Why is that?
